- Four large onions (Vidalia or sweet)
- 3 tbsps cornstarch
These are the items you need to start the process. Make sure the onions are sliced into thin rings and left in cold water for at least 10 minutes.
- 1 1/4 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- Cayenne pepper
- 1 1/4 cup of Ice-cold water

Let’s start by mixing the dry ingredients. Get them all in a mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Then, proceed to step 2.
